Dear Customer,

     Due to rising costs, I have been forced to raise prices. Many of you know that last year I changed the way that I priced the deer. This will allow me to raise prices in areas that need it most, while keeping prices down on other items. Please keep these things in mind, as you notice increases both across the board and in individual items on the sign in sheet.

I have kept the quick picks, which are still the best value, and will work with you on ways to help you keep your costs down, while still providing quality venison products for your family. The higher end products, the smoked items were the most affected. The cost of these higher end products has increased by as much as 25%.

     The main thing affecting prices is the rising cost of fuel. All of my shipping costs have gone up, as have all of the costs for supplies. In addition, one of my biggest expenses is waste removal, which is directly affected by the cost of fuel. Vacuum seal bags are a petroleum product, and have increased greatly in price.

     Another area that has increased is the cost of sausage casings. They have more than doubled since last deer season.

     I will be enforcing a $1.00 per day storage fee on all deer left for over 30 days. The fee will be waived for those who pay up front, if space allows.

     The monthly drawing for prizes is returning!!
There will be no need for tickets, as I will draw from the numbers listed on your sign in sheet.
